Clear Channel San Diego Radio Internship Program
The Clear Channel Radio Internship Program is currently seeking motivated college students who enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Our internship program is an excellent opportunity for students to gain invaluable experience in Radio Promotions.
Please note regarding internship:
All positions are unpaid, and Clear Channel Radio does not provide for transportation or reimbursement costs. Prospective candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited university and must be able to receive school credit for an internship.
Interns must be in good academic standing and must possess good work ethics such as punctuality, self-motivation, a willingness to learn, be people oriented and serious about moving their career forward.
Interns must be able to commute to and from the Clear Channel office in Kearny Mesa and be able to make available a minimum of 10-12 hours per week (weekends and evening hours are required based on events). All interns must attend mandatory weekly meeting at the Clear Channel office on Thursdays at 11am.
Promotions Internship:
- Assist promotions team with the planning, packing and executing of station events (including concerts and client events) for all seven (7) Clear Channel stations: Channel 933, Star 94.1, 95.7, 101KGB, Rock 105.3, AM 600 KOGO, and XTRA Sports 1360.
- Write copy, compile and distribute daily prize sheets
- Contact daily winners to follow up with prizing details
- Act as a liaison between station and radio listeners
- Represent station in a positive manner during any listener interaction over the phone or in person at events
- Assist with filing, mailing and other office duties as assigned
- Assist other station departments as needed
