At the time of this article, Amazon Prime members will have to request an invite in order to be able to add thousands of food products: meats, produce, and snacks to their carts. To qualify for free 1-2 hour shipping, customers must order a minimum of $35 ($50 if you're in New York).
Amazon Fresh and the Whole Foods Markets (also owned by Amazon) will be part of Amazon Fresh in more than 2,000 towns across the United States. Amazon Fresh is available in certain parts of the UK, India, and Germany. No word yet if the free shipping will apply to these areas.
