A maintenance worker at Disneyland Paris has tested positive for the coronavirus. Since the behind the scenes night shift worker wasn't in contact with park visitors, the park will remain open
The infected employee had been on sick leave for a few days prior to testing positive. Co-workers who have worked with the infected employee are currently getting checked just in case.
Both the Disneyland Paris, which has about 15 million visitors a year, and Disneyworld park in Florida have begun providing hand sanitizer gel for visitors and has advised everyone to keep their distance while standing in line for rides.
So far, Disneyland Tokyo in Japan has been closed as a precaution because of the coronavirus. Disneyland Shanghai is set to re-open after being closed in January, also because of the coronavirus.
Various sporting venues around the world have already canceled several games due to fears of the coronavirus.
