Upon further investigation using a DNA test administered by Alpine Animal Hospital, this 'dog' was actually a dingo, a wild canine that kinda resembles a fox in Australia. It's believed that the 'pup' was dropped into the yard by an eagle.
The dingo pup, which was named Wandi, was placed at a sanctuary.
