Is Lady Gaga a stealer?? Azealia Banks tweeted on Monday (September 16th), "@lady gaga make sure u let them know where u got the title for red flame from. U stole that from the demo I sent u. Life is great. You can have it. Plenty more where that came from. Seriously...This one is free. Next time I'm charging." Back in October of 2012, Azealia told Brazil's Mix TV that she and Gaga had a collab record called "Red Flame". They never worked in the same room, just online through emails. So Azealia was kept clueless about the release details for this song, which was fueled her anger as everyone can see on Twitter.
Mother Monster shared with her fans what it means to be a celebrity and why "Applause" is so important to her:
"'Applause' is a very meaningful song to me, because it addresses what many think of 'celebrities' today, that we ‘do it' for the attention," she said in the opening of her multitweet message. "But some of us are 'artists' in this group called 'celebrity,' & what we create doesn't live on unless theres an audience to remember it. So I may need your attention at first, so I can sing you my song. But it's the 'Applause' after that let me know if I've entertained you." She adds: "Entertainment makes people happy, I live for the 'Applause,' to know I've spread that. I live to hear you cheer, to just be a part of that. I believe in show business. The 'Applause' is what breeds that thing that I love. When I know I've made you happy. When I know it was good."
