What a minnnnnnute. So I was reading TMZ yesterday and they posted this story about Katy Perry's new song with Elmo on Sesame Street. Katy shot a segment for the show -- which was supposed to air on New Year's Eve -- in which she sings a cleaned-up version of her song, "Hot N Cold" with Elmo.
The song made its way to YouTube Monday and racked up nearly a million views. I actually posted it on my page a few days ago and thought it was super cute! But some parents started complaining her cleavage was too front and center. TMZ has learned producers have decided not to air the song on the show. Fact is ... what looks like Katy's bare chest is actually covered in flesh-colored mesh that goes all the way to her neck.
Parent's need to lighten up - chances are their kids didn't even notice her chest and they were probably loving the song and singing along. I thought she looked cute! Maybe these parents are just jealous that Katy looks amazing and they don't have the same beautiful looks. What do you think????? take a look at the video again. It's not bad at all!

Marathon Challenge Obstacle!

Yay the Chargers won yesterday! It's always a little easier going into work on a Monday when you're team wins the day before right!!! I had a wonderful weekend because of that obviously but also because I got to hang out with my best friends too. Yesterday we tailgated all morning before the game and it was so much fun taking my besties to their very first NFL game.
Early Saturday morning - I ran 5 miles... but this is the 2nd week in a row that my knee has been hurting. I'm gettin' all beat up while training for this marathon. Today I can barely walk because my shin splints are back. If you've ever had ship splints then you know how painful they are. My race is 10/17 so I'm just trying to stay focused on that but I hope all my aches go away sooner than later. Have a wonderful day.

GoOOoOOooo Chargers!

Well THIS Sunday is the Chargers 1st HOME game in the real season so naturally I'm pumped about the game! I'm a first time season ticket holder and I'm so excited about getting up early Sunday morning and driving down to the Q and tailgating with my friends. Mmmmmm I have literally been tryin' to eat super healthy this week because I know how "bad" I'll eat Sunday. Hot dogs and beer.... so good right?! HAHA..... It's going to be another gorgeous weekend so enjoy that! I'll talk to you Monday :)

Good morning... my burn is getting better thanks for asking.. lol. I'm just keeping it wrapped everyday so that it stays clean. Yesterday I had a pretty random conversation with some of my co-workers about the dentist. I was shocked when I found out that most of them haven't been in YEARS!! Are you kidding me?
I'll be honest, I'm NOT a fan of the dentist... the noises, the tools, the uncomfortable opened mouth position.... But it's so important to go every 6 months. What I do is just make my appointment for my next visit when I'm there. Then, it's just in my calendar and I don't forget to go.
Anyway.... that's my clean teeth preach to ya today. We only get one set of teeth so you gotta remember to take good care of them :)

I feel the burn!!!! Ouch!!

Ummm... let me just start by saying... I AM A GOOD COOK! It's just that sometimes I can be a little clumsy in life. Sunday morning, just a few hours before I was about to leave for the MTV VMA's... I was heating up a little bit of Virgin Olive Oil in a wok. I was going to cook some home-style potatoes for breakfast and I accidently grabbed the wok too fast and tilted it to the point where ALL the oil spilled out and landed on my hand.
YES it Hurrrrrrrtttt!!!!! My boyfriend was there and he told me NOT to put ice on it - Apparently it's bad to put ice or really cold water on burns.... I had no clue! Instead, he said toothpaste is best! That was a first for me. Luckily my roommate, Taja had "burn cream" and I applied that afterwards. Yesterday I did see a doctor and she told me it was a mild 2nd degree burn and that I'm gonna be just fine as long as I keep it clean with Neosporin. Note to self: Be a little more careful in the kitchen ;)

Welcome to da' weeeeeekend. I'm so excited because last night I found out I'm going to the MTV VMA's on Sunday! Woooo HOOOO. I've never been so this will be a fun experience especially since MTV confirmed that Eminem will be opening up the show!!!!!!!! Do you know that I use to have the biggest crush on him back in high school and college. HAHA like I had his posters up in my dorm room and I've been to 4 Eminem concerts. YAY! I doubt that I can bring my flip camera into the show so booo no video :( Buuuuut I'll have my phone so I'll see what I can do. Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Sexy Towel Picture Mistake!!

Hi friends... wow last night something horrrrrrrible happened to me. Well I guess it could be worse, but here's what happened.... My boyfriend and I like to take pictures of whatever we are doing and send them to each other..... well last night he was at the Padres / Dodgers game so he took a picture and sent it to me. I was just getting out of the shower so I took a picture of myself IN MY TOWEL THOUGH!
I didn't notice that when he sent me that picture he also sent it to his parents and a couple friends. I just replied to that text and as I was watching the 'send bar' almost complete I noticed it said "Sending to 3 other people" WHAAAAT... Yup his parents and friends all got a "sexy" picture of me in my towel. FML! I was sooooo embarrassed!!!! Note to self: always double check who you're sending texts to!
