So last month my roommate introduced me to Snapchat. I was immediately hooked. What an ingenious way to send pics of yourself or others and not worry that it can be shared.
Snapchat is an app that allows you to take a pic of whatever you want, send it for a few seconds, then have it dissapear. Risky pictures constantly get people in trouble, and its high time that an app was made that allows people the ability to send a picture without having to worry if it'll later be used against them. You can also insert text and use a coloring pencil once youve taken a picture.
Sexting can now easily be replaced with a dissapearing picture. The next time Tiger Wood's and his multiple mistresses want to have fun via phones, he won't have to worry about them turning and showing everyone their pictures.
Channel 933 interns Bryhana and Dallas took over the streets of Hillcrest this weekend to interview pride participants. Low an behold they had the oppertunity to have a one on one interview with Ms. Empress herself, Nicole Murray Ramirez. Nicole Ramirez is one of the only founders of pride that is still alive an shines bright like a diamond! It was a fabulous opportunity to sit an chat with the Empress of the Imperial Court System and was an honor to hear her story from start to finish. Dallas and I were both blown away by all of the accomplishments and situations she had to face to overcome and reach to where she is now within the LGBT community. Nicole has worked with presidents, governors, congressmen and even gay activist like Harvey Milk. Make sure to tune in tomorrow on Channel 933 from 6-10 am to hear her story for yourself!
