So last month my roommate introduced me to Snapchat. I was immediately hooked. What an ingenious way to send pics of yourself or others and not worry that it can be shared.
Snapchat is an app that allows you to take a pic of whatever you want, send it for a few seconds, then have it dissapear. Risky pictures constantly get people in trouble, and its high time that an app was made that allows people the ability to send a picture without having to worry if it'll later be used against them. You can also insert text and use a coloring pencil once youve taken a picture.
Sexting can now easily be replaced with a dissapearing picture. The next time Tiger Wood's and his multiple mistresses want to have fun via phones, he won't have to worry about them turning and showing everyone their pictures.

Synopsis: Taking place in Los Angeles in the year 2154, the population is divided into two class groups: the super-rich and the dirt-poor. The rich live in a secured institution in outer space called "Elysium", while the poor remain living on Earth where the atmosphere is polluted and constantly deteriorating, along with human life. Max, played by Matt Damon, takes on a mission that would lead to equality among all human beings. However, the Secretary of Defense for Elysium, played by Jodie Foster, stands in the way of Max's mission in order to preserve the lifestyle of the rich.
Review: Go watch this movie! The action in Elysium is are AMAZING!! It has kind of an arcade-game-feel with the camera angles and the slow motion effect to showcase the intricate fight sequences. Heads up for the frequent amount of guts splattering in this film. I personally had to look away because it was too gruesome for my stomach to hold. Along with the cool action scenes, Elysium has heart-felt moments between characters as they deal with immigration and healthcare issues in their current state, which reflects future projections in reality. Foster's performance is very different to what audiences are used to because she plays the stern antagonist. Despite the change, Foster pulls off the intimidating role very well. And to the ladies that are not into action and drama movies, Matt Damon is SHIRTLESS in a lot of scenes!!
I will give Elysium two thumbs up because I would watch it more than once.
