GANG KITCHEN, downtown San Diego's hottest new Asian inspired restaurant and bar.
Gang Kitchen acted as base camp for the Hollywood Reporter Thursday through Sunday day. Among the celebs that came through were Kit Harington of Game of Thrones , Angus Sampson and Leigh Whannell of Insidious 2, Megan Bone and Diego Klattenhoff of NBC's Blacklist, Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Oci and the cast of Sleepy Hollow, Arrow stars Stephan Amell and Emily Bett Rickards, Kick-Ass 2 star Lindy Booth, rock legend/ former Guns N’ Roses guitarist, Slash, and the casts of Walking Dead, Black Sails, Falling Skies, The World's End, Breaking Bad, Bates Motel and How I Met Your Mother.
On Thursday night, A&E and the Hollywood Reporter took over Gang Kitchen for the Bates Motel Comic-Con party. The star-studded event brought out the entire Bates Motel cast including Vera Farmiga, fresh off her Emmy nomination, and co-stars Freddie Highmore, Max Thieriot, Olivia Cooke, Nestor Carbonnell and Mike Vogel. Other clubs spotted at the event included Homeland actors Navid Negahban and Diego Klattenhoff, Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, and Catching Fire's Jena Malone, who spent some quality time on the dance floor upstairs. David Arquette posed with Bai Ling on the red carpet while Tim Daly and son, Sam Daly, made it a father-son night. Breaking Bad stars Aaron Paul, Bob Odenkirk and Anna Gunn, Craig Ferguson, Newsroom's Joel Johnstone and director Kevin Tancharoen also stopped by to enjoy the last night of the four-day convention.
Partygoers were treated to several themed rooms in the event space, including a dark "marijuana room," with faux-plants growing from the floor and hanging from the ceiling. To top off the space, (pot-free) brownies were available for attendees who may have been craving something sweet.

BASIC URBAN KITCHEN + BAR, San Diego's chic, industrial warehouse bar and pizza lounge.
BASIC hosted Tumblr’s invite-only Comic-Con parties on both Friday & Saturday afternoon. Among the celebs who showed up were Andrew Garfield and Jamie Foxx of the new film The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and the cast of Fox’s drama pilot, Sleepy Hollow, including Tom Mison, Orlando Jones and Nicole Beharie.

QUALITY SOCIAL, Downtown Gaslamp district's favorite neighborhood locale
Matt Lanter, actor best known for his roles in the Ultimate-Spider Man TV series, 90201, and the Star Wars: The Clone Wars came in for dinner with a lovely female guest who appeared to be his girlfriend.
The cast of MTV’s Teen Wolf, including leading star Tyler Posey, dropped in to QS and enjoyed a round of Pickleback shots comprised of housemade pickle juice and Irish Whiskey, the shot of choice enjoyed by many downtown locals.
David Zayas of Showtime’s American television drama, Dexter, arrived with a group of three after leaving the Comic Con panels to recoup with a few beers, tequila shots and appetizers.
Stand-up comedian, actor and television host, Eric Andre, came in with the full cast of cable television network, Adult Swim. The crew happily enjoyed shots of Patrón Silver, some Irish Whiskey, Budweiser and some locally crafted brews.
Dexter’s David Zayas came in for a second time. He told that staff that he loved the food so much that he had to come back. The QS star made sure he was sat at his now "usual" table.
Dorian Brown of FX’s original comedy, Wilfred, had a great time at QS with a group of four friends. They came in for an early dinner while interacting with a handful of guests and waitresses alike.
Lauren Cohan of AMC’s horror television drama, The Walking Dead, came in with a group of seven to throw back from some of their beverages of choice, mainly Patrón, Casa Noble Anjeo Tequila, Makers Mark, and a handful of assorted draft beers.
Kelly Hu of the CW’s hit television show, Arrow, brought in a group of five who kept to themselves and reminded in deep conversation throughout the night.
John Galeki of the Big Bang Theory, Jane Levy, the star of the ABC sitcom, Suburgatory, and Matt Smith, English actor best known for his role in the British television series, Doctor Who were just a handful of the celebs who stopped by Quality Social for bites and cocktails in QS’ uber vip lounge, the VIPER ROOM.
Jessica Parker Kennedy of the television series, Black Sails and 90210 came in for quick dinner with a posse of 6.

American actress, comedian and author Aisha Tyler stopped by Craft & Commerce for lunch with two friends
American Actress Lake Bell, best known for her roles in Miss Match, The Practice, and its spinoff Boston Legal, came in for dinner with comedian, actor/director, David Wain and two other friends.
