A bomb threat at a Wichita Home Depot was actually just a customer warning everyone about poo in the bathroom
Talk about a misunderstanding! Police were called in after a man made a 'bomb threat' by saying out loud that "there's a bomb in here and you need to leave the building" while using the urinal inside Home Depot.
Employees knew the local man since he was a regular customer and was able to provide a name to authorities. Turns out, the man that was reported was in the restroom while the original defecator (pooper) was giving everyone in that restroom a polite warning that “You all need to get out of here because I’m fixin’ to blow it up,”
In hindsight, it was meant to be a sarcastic "bathroom humor" joke, but apparently not everyone laughed. A courtesy flush would've been more helpful.
The good news is that there were no charges.
