Young Parents Celebrated 1-Year Anniversary, Killed in El Paso Walmart

Andre, 24, and Jordan Anchondo, 25, were gunned down while protecting their newborn son during the massacre at the Cielo Vista Mall Walmart. The couple leaves behind a baby boy and 2 young daughters.

The couple, who recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary, was at Walmart with their 2-month-old son Paul that day to buy school supplies and party supplies for their 6-year-old daughter's birthday party at their newly constructed home which was to be shown to friends and family later that day on Saturday, August, 3, 2019.

During the shooting by Patrick Crusius, Jordan got on top of her son to protect him while Andre got on top of her. Their baby boy had suffered broken fingers from the incident.

Andre is the owner of Andre House of Granite and Stone.

The El Paso Walmart shooting ranks as the 8th deadliest massacre in US history with 21 deaths (and 26 injuries).
